Social responsibility activities

The social responsipility strategy aims to achieve sustainability and unity efforts related to the contribution of the sector and its parteners in performing its social role to improve the quality of living conditions of neighboring local communities and egyption society as a whole , and that these contributions are an essential part of the petroleum sector strategy and represent one of the basic pillars for achieving and implementing the sustainable development plan within the framework of the future vision's Egypt in its economic , environmental and social dimensions.

This strategy includes:

This is in addition to participating in ongoing presidential initiatives, and working to achieve the primary goal for the general petroleum company is to improve and raise the standard of living for the neighborhood in all areas of the company by providing health and educational services, …… etc.

Examples of the above are:

• Contributing to the project to develop and rehabilitate Salah Al-Awadi hospital for women ,obstetrics and children affiliated with The ministry of health – Amreya , Alexandria governorate.
• Contributing to the project of establishing acritical care and emergency building within the campus of AL-Iman general hospital, affiliated with The ministry of health in Assiut governorate.
• Raising the efficiency and development of Ras Gharib general hospital by developing outpatient clinics and providing equipment required.
• Preparing fulcrum of the civil protection fire truck to serve the galala – al- zafarana road, as many accidents have occurred on it recently,and providing a living room for the work crew , in cooperation and coordination between the General petroleum company and Simitar Egypt production company limited.
